The group has signalled that it has big plans for the Duke of Dural.

The Good Beer Group have finalised their exit strategy from North Sydney by successfully selling the Union Hotel in an off-market transaction negotiated by leading national pub brokerage firm HTL Property agents Dan Dragicevich, Andrew Jolliffe and Sam Handy. The purchaser was Watering Hole Hotels led generational publican, Ashton Waugh, taking their portfolio to fifteen venues spread throughout New South Wales.

Good Beer Company is back on the acquisition horse, buying comedy legend the Harold Park Hotel in Sydney’s inner west.
In 1903 the pub on the Ross Street corner in suburban Forest Lodge was known as the Little Bridge Hotel, but long after it was destroyed by fire in 1959, a modern two-storey brick structure was constructed on the site, opening in 2007 directly across from the former Harold Park Raceway.

KEG & BREW'S 10M REFURB AND ROOFTOP
The ground floor public bar still offers over 30 taps pouring craft and mainstream brews, and a solid pub menu of burgers, schnitzels and steaks. The former guest rooms on level one have become a 70-seat restaurant with its own bar, and on level two is now a series of function spaces for up to 120-pax.

The team behind Surry Hills' Dove & Olive hotel are responsible the takeover. The old KB's no-frills interior has been given the heave-ho in favour of western kitsch, cowskin upholstery and lots of taxidermy. The mounted water buffalo is nothing short of intimidating.
